Why "nothing bad happened to me" is the most dangerous story you can tell, and how invisible childhood conditioning shapes your identity, your biology, and your life
This article resonates deeply with me, not just as a therapist myself, also having dealt with capital T trauma, done intense PTSD therapy and what was left was the M.U.D. which I am now rewriting, rewiring and retraining in the Next Level Human program of Dr. Jade Teta, which I highly recommend to anyone wanting to take charge of their own life, and the freedom that creates.
A few years ago I discovered Dr. Jonice Webb who focuses on CEN or, ‘childhood emotional neglect.’ It runs along what you describe here:
“But a child who experiences years of chronic subtle invalidation from a loving but emotionally limited parent can develop patterns that are more entrenched and more resistant to change.... because the conditioning was never recognized as conditioning.”

Yes. I will check out their work. Thank you 🙏🏽
