Again and again I've had people confess extraordinary experiences to me, only to deny them later. Sometimes they regret having admitted to it, but more often people literally FORGET. They pushed it out of their conscious mind - as you say, they had no framework for it.
My ex had the most extraordinary out of body experience - it thrilled me when he described it to me and I thought about it often. Years later I reminded him of it and he had no memory of it! How do you forget something like that?! It's because it didn't fit into his worldview, so he couldn't afford to remember it.
And I've seen that happen with others as well. We don't just fail to notice when "God is talking" - too often, we actively push it out of our awareness, because it scares us.

Think of it less like a radio and more like a CB radio. It doesn't just pick up the signal. It sends one out too.
When we begin to regulate ourselves, clear what isn't ours, and align with what is genuinely true for us, we don't just tune into a different frequency.
We become a different frequency.
And what we then attract into our lives tends to reflect that shift.

Yes, I like this idea. The best analogy I think we could have right now is a mobile device. It is obviously receiving and transducing, but it is also organizing and responding in the way it makes calls, reponds to texts, plays music, watches material engages on social media etc. The device has a living breathing signature which impacts the signal it receives. This makes more sense when you consider the brain and the heart are both made of the thing they are receiving and responding from and to. It is not a one way communication. It is a bidirectional and complementary relationship. We are extensions and expressions of source... cocreators.

I think that's the piece that often gets overlooked.
The signal we receive isn't separate from the state we're in when we receive it.
The more we change internally, the more our relationship with what we're perceiving seems to change too.
